ABOUT US
The Bayou Builders FIRST Lego League is a team of highly motivated students ages 9 to 14 from our local community in southeast Louisiana. We encompass a wide range of educational backgrounds from home school to area public schools, and a private Montessori school.
We are a part of Bayou Builders because we love to learn, we love to be part of a team and we love robotics. We are driven to share our experiences with others and assist with the development of more FIRST robotics teams throughout our area.
While it's exciting to have the opportunity to advance, it's because we know that the experiences ahead will be once in a lifetime and life changing.
Through our involvement in Bayou Builders, we have the chance to meet people who work in different career fields and learn more about what makes them passionate. We get to share our own growing passion for science, technology, engineering and math with fellow FLL teams and other interested elementary and middle-school students we encounter. We are a team of builders ~ building on our capacity for tomorrow in what we do and experience today!
